CHAPTER 2 ~With Selena~ Selenas p.o.v.: Ew, i had Social Studies first period. Nothing interesting happened (surprize, surprize!). As soon as the bell rang, i gathered my books and walked to my second period cl, English. i saw Nick sitting there like an angel. My heart began to race. But why do i even try? its not like he knows i exist.But today, im gunna take a chance. i took a deep breath and sat next to him. Nick: hey Oh my God. is Nick Jonas actually talking to me? Or was i dreaming... Selena: uh, hey Nick: your Selena right? He actually knows my named! Maybe this year wasnt going to be so bad after all... Selena: yup Nick: awesome, im Nick *he stuck out his hand* Without thinking, i shook his hand. Ugh, i am such an idiot! i shouldve known better. Me, Demi and Ashley are still learning to use our powers. Selena: *shakes his hand* Nick: *feels his hand getting numb* What the— *looks down and his hand is super cold* Nicks p.o.v. in second period a really pretty girl sat next to me. it was Selena! Boy, has she changed over the summer! i introduced my self, and stuckmy hand out. As she shook it, it felt as if electric shocks ran through my body. How was i suppose to explain why i froze his hand. Ugh. This is gonna be harder then i thought. After 40 minutes, the bell rand. i grabbed my books and bolted out of cl. i left Nick sitting there, puzzled. ** Skipping to Lunch Time ** Demi: *walks in the lunchroom and sees Selena and Ashley at a table* *sits down at their table* Hey guys Sel&Ash: hey Demi: so... anything new? Selena: im soo stupid! *hit herself in the head* Ash: what happened? Selena: well... i shook hands with Nick.... Demi: Selena! Selena: im sorry! Hes just so freakin cute! Nick: *sighs* i dont know.. theres something.... Joe: different? Nick: yeah. This is gonna sound crazy, but... *in a lower voice* when Selena shook my hand, she froze it. Joe: *bursts out laughing* Nick: *looks at him* im serious! Joe: *turns serious* what? Nick: really! Joe: dude, did you hit your head or something? Nick: No! Joe: sure.... *goes back to eating* Miley: *comes over by Nick and sits down next to him* hey Nicky! Nick: *sighs* Hi Miley: is that bitch bothering you? Nick: uh? Miley: *rolls her eyes* Selena! Nick: n Miley: its okay! Well take care of it! *to AJ* AJ! AJ: *comes over* yeah? Miley: wanna get Demi and Selena? *Nick and Joe look at each other* Miley: lets dump a lot of water on them. Nicks POV- it has been about 3 weeks since i visited Madison at her mothers wedding. & believe me ive missed that girl every minute of every day. i cant wait till i get to hold her in my arms again. i mean, the way she was dancing with me that night. it was like only her & i were the only ones on the dance floor. it was such a magical moment. Unfortunately it had to come to an end. As i walked away from her & saw her standing there under the tree as our tour bus drove away. it was one of the hardest thing i had to see in my life. Of course me & Madison have been texting a lot. its hard when you get up at 4am in the morning & dont hit the pillow to 11:00 but i always make sure i at least say 'goodnight' or 'i love you.' Every time i talk to her. ive never experience this kind of love before. ive had a few girlfriends in the past but i never cared for someone like i do for Madison. i always want to know what she is doing, whats she thinking when im texting her, how is she feeling with our relationship, is she as happy as i am? But this girl, Madison, she is different. Not just her attitude, figure & thoughts, but i love her more then any thing in the world. Kevin: NiCK, JOE, GET UP! its already a half an hour past 5. Nick: [slowly getting up & stretching my arms over my head] ughh. When will i ever get a day where i can sleep till 10:00 like a normal person. [Suddenly something hit me in the face.] Ow! What was that for [as i turned to look who did it.] Kevin: You can sleep in when youre a normal kid...oh wait....sorry. [He started to walk away laughing. He was right. Normal kid. Yeah right.] [i got up & walked to the kitchen area of our tour bus & sat down. You guys got up to late. But this will do. [Joe finally got up & staggered to the table, i didnt even think he was fully awake. He grabbed his spoon & dug in. as we all starred at him.] Nick: Earth to Joe? Kevin: Come in Joe [nothing. he sat there. As if he was sleeping walking but eating cereal] Mr. Jonas: Boy!! here's the schedule. 6am. We have a radio interview at the studio for 98.5 rock station. 10am You have a photoshoot with L magazine. 3pm. Sound check at the arena 7pm. The big show for New York tonight. Kevin: Sounds like fun. Nick: Joy. Joe: mhhmm. Mrs. Jonas: Well! Lets get going boys. Dont want to be late today! i have a feeling this concert is going to be a great one! [i looked at my mom with curious eyes, but nothing phases my mom, so i couldnt read her expression. i decided i was to tired to try & my brothers & i went back to the bunks got dressed & got ready for the day. Even if today was somewhat special. i still missed Madison like no other.] ------ Sorry this was a boring chapter. Promise tomorrows will be better. & sorry soooo late. School has been horrible. Comment / Rate / Subscribe ;) i felt like jumping up and screaming like a little girl. Sitting there in the shoveled driveway, was a black '68 Ford Thunderbird. Fully redone in the 60's style. it was in perfect condition. i walked over to it slowly, my family surrounding it. Nick came to give me a hug and i couldn't even hug him back. My hands were at my mouth; i was still shocked. "Do you like it?" He whispered in my ear. i looked up at him like he had ten heads. "No... i LOVE it!" i practically screamed. Everyone started to laugh at me, but i didn't care. i jumped in and Sophie sat in the penger's seat. Then i came to a realization. "Uh, Soph.. i don't have my license." She gave me a 'you've got to be kidding me' look. And then i almost screamed again. And then another realization. i loved those things. "But isn't the driver's place closed? i mean, c'mon it's christmas eve." "Nope, nothing's closed when you have the Jonas Brothers as best friends." Joe said smugly, laughing. i laughed, and i shrugged. i'd go with that. i had my beginner's license, so i could drive with a fully license , which included Nick. So i drove with him over to the DMV with Joe and Kevin in the back, who were admiring my car the whole time. i couldn't believe i could call this clic, my car. i loved it. By 11, i had my license. i had ped with flying colors. We headed back home with my new License, still warm in my back pocket. We all plopped on the couches and just talked. "So what do you want to do for the rest of the day, Nicole?" Kevin asked me. "You only turn 16 once." i shrugged. "i wanna stay here. This is the best birthday ever..." And then i thought of something. "Did you guys plan to stay here, even though it wasn't really that bad outside?" They all exchanged looks and then started to laugh. i felt stupid. "What? i started, "You don't think i could've figured it out?" Joe shrugged. "Not so soon. You didn't notice last night." "i was tired..." i mumbled. Just then Nick came back in the room. i'm not even sure why he left, i wasn't paying attention. He sat down beside me, but didn't put his arm around me, or even move close to me, like he would've this morning. He was acting different. i pretended not to notice, but by almost an hour later it was really starting to bother me. When he went into the kitchen to grab a gl of water i followed him. There was something wrong. Wow, i'd love that birthday present;) But i don't think that's really what's on your mind right now.... What's up with Nick? Oh, and i think until i finish this series, i'm going to put my other one on hold, in case anyone was wondering. it's a lot to keep up with.
