Clip 2 of one of the most outstanding episodes of all time, illustrating a guy being petrified by a gorgon! A live-action female statue petrification should be done this good. it's too bad though that there isn't any. The love of detail on the statue, and for the emotion of shocked surprise (of knowing that his supposed girlfriend is doing something so vindictive as this to him) is captured on the face and body language & gesture is phenomenal! Clip 3 is even better, when the camera travels all around the statue, showing all angle of it.
